Flash is a web-based flashcard study application that allows you to create, upload, and study flashcard decks using a spaced repetition algorithm. The Service helps you learn and retain information through systematic review and testing.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must:

  • Create an account by providing a valid email address and password
  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate

  • All activities that occur under your account

  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscription plans, features, and pricing are described on our website and may change from time to time.

5.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, annually, or as specified)
  • Payment is processed through our third-party payment processor, Creem
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for all subscription fees
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your subscription

5.3 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period
  • No refunds or credits will be provided for partial billing periods

5.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period after we notify you. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription.

5.5 Refund Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms. We do not provide refunds for partial months or years, or for unused portions of your subscription.

The Service is an educational tool. We do not guarantee any learning outcomes or results from using the Service. You are solely responsible for your educational goals and achievements.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of user-generated content. You should verify all information independently.

8.4 Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Termination

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the availability and integrity of your data, we are not responsible for any loss of data. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of Your Content. We recommend regularly exporting your flashcard decks.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Flash. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party websites or services.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Disputes

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

14. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
